If clones were just over 20 a numbers matching descent bee like this one realistically starts with a 3 in front of it. IMHO.

Chassis has been spray painted, possibly over rust

grille is not blacked out (possibly a 440 grill)

hood does not appear to close well

        no way 30K

I also had a good friend look at the car yesterday. He is a retired paint and body guy who has built more than a few show cars, all bowties though. His report was that frame rails and torque boxes were solid. Floor pan and trunk pan were replaced all metal around windshield and rear glass was solid with no rot. Minor bondo in driver side rocker.

In 69 it should have headrests also. Did you verify the VIN that it is indeed an actual Bee?

Interesting , I was told by the owner now that the car came from Florida and the current title supports that.

Wonder if the guy I that had the car when I was looking sold it to Florida and then it made its way to NY? It has probably been at least 3 years since it was in MN. Was looking at it before I bought my Bee project. I talked to the guy in the pic driving the car into his driveway. So they are still using his pics when he had it for sale.

Great. I think if the car is SOLID and the rest of the parts are there it will sell in the low 30's. If you can buy it under 30k I think that would be a good deal. A guy would need to check it out good in person though. Nice solid Bee's are not that easy to find. There were way more Chargers and Road Runners built than Bee's.

Early 1969 cars didn’t have head rests. Head rests came as a mandated safety feature part way through the year. This car’s vin being 25XXXX should have them though.

All I can add is I do love that color "Turbine Bronze Met" which to me would ad value, From what I see without putting my hands on it $28- $30k, if the paint & body work check out in person and some of the missing parts are included low $30's.

Guess I should clarify that I am referring to the tan car that ironbuilt posted, not the one you are looking at.

Thats good to know. I thought all 69 models were mandated to have headrests.

I believe that January 1, 1969 was the mandatory date that 1969 model cars had to have them.

I dont know for sure, but from pics it looks like the hump stripe is in a different position from one side to the other.
