Moving the radiator forward...

I am at 6 inches from my cover to the furthest point out which is the water pump. So it looks like you need 2 more inches. To me it looks like sectioning the core support and moving it fore ward 2 inches and a custom radiator with a low profile double suction fan/shroud.

My biggest fear is hacking up the front until I know I have no other options! Figured someone else had to beat this before.

I like the idea, had I known how tight mine would be I would have already done it.

I only have one drive belt for the alternator & water pump. It's tight but it fits. I now use an afco triple pass with one 16 inch Spal pusher fan. The 540 inch stays under 190* on a hot day in line to the cruise in.
