Mustang guys....

This happened last night. While out making runs in FURYIOUS twice I came back to find a Mustang in my pit. Both had license tags & cheater/street slicks. Drivers of both cars nowhere to be found. On the white one it was after my third & final pass. Track curfew in effect. I had to move my truck & trailer so i could load my race car up. Just got it tied down and they killed all the lights. While tying it down up front I heard him start it. I got up & walk around & was going to say something to him but he speed off. In all my years of drag racing (in my fourth decade) this has happened 3 times.

I would have boxed him in and then make him wait double the time it took him to get his *** back.
Call it and inconvenience penalty.

That was EXACTLY what I was thinking. And parked his *** someplace that he could not have gotten out of without getting a truck and/or trailer moved.

The track should paint: "no parking" on the spots. Most people will respect it, or not stray far from their car.

Our track has a sponsored tow truck for removing crashed and disabled cars, from the strip.
For someone parked in the firelane, or someone else's pit, they get two warnings before it is towed behind a locked fence 3/4 mile away.

I used to have some parking report cards that I would leave on windshields. My favorite is when I pull in for gas and 1/2 the pumps are blocked by people inside the store!!
