Bought this 66 on my wintertrip in Florida. Found it sitting in a backyard in Deltona
It´s in decent condition and now it runs and drives. Pretty solid body
It has a 440 but was originally a 383 car
Won´t do anything major with it for now. Keeping the outside as it is.
Just drove it on the parking at my friends business in Miami so this saturday I took it for the first ride.
As I noticed before the front end needs work. Doesn´t feel to good on the road

To do list for now is
Change valve lifters
Fix oil leak from power steering
New valve cover gaskets
New master cylinder
New brake cylinders and brake shoes
Probably new brake lines
Change front wheel studs to longer and add spacers
New wheel seals on rear axle
New rear shock absorbers
New ignition parts
Replace parts in the front end
Weld a rust hole behind passanger side
New carpets
Some electric work with instruments
Fix heating
Get it registrated and approved in Sweden
Put back the motors for the headlights. The former owner just found them

Doesn´t have all time in the world for the moment so we´ll see when and how much I have time to fix.
I also buyed a 1971 Ford F250 and a 1965 Chrysler Newport that needs some work and then put out for sale so at least one of them needs to have priority before the Charger but I will work with them side by side

Wish list/future to do list
New tail lights
New dash pad
Remove engine for paint, control, and other camshaft
See if the headers can fit in

Congrat's! Have fun with your Charger. Sounds like she'll be helping to keep you busy Rille.

Pulled out the compressor for the AC. Missing other parts and no need for it in Sweden :(

Started to work on the oil leaks from the power steering. Big leak from the 90 degree connector on the steering gear. Having a hard time finding a new connector

Pulled out the power steering pump that had a leak from the bottom. Disassembled it and got a new seal. It was missing one of the bolts(centric) that holds the pump cover so I drilled a second hole for that.

Also pulled out the master cylinder as it was leaking. A new one from Rockauto was $28. In Sweden I guess it would cost a few hundreds

Think I´l buy a kit like this for the front end

Nice score! I find myself wanting one of these as well, really like the lines, grill, fastback and the interiors are sweet!

For me who pretty much never seen this model in real I found "new" lines after having it a few days. Things you notice after a while

Does anyone know where I can find longer wheel studs?
Need at least 2" inch long as I have to put spacers in the front
Studs are 1/2-20 0.630
