My 1974 Charger

Ok from the pics (dont have time or way to see car right now) the interiors pretty good. Its kinda strange... But good. But it needs a steering wheel! Theres on spot on the passenger side front (near bumber) thats a little rusty... But other that that its all good. Tail lights are there and I dont think there cracked. It needs a grill and bumber. Ok I KNOW it needs a bumber cause the guy didnt say he had one... Its been sitting there for 1 to 2 months and well... I'll put it real simply: Im 15 and minimum wage is not the best... and I got no other jobs right now. I may get the cash for it by I dont know say end of july maybe mid august. July for sure if I get another job or find something I have thats worth $$$ lol.

Well right now im not think so much about carbs. Im just thinking of more ways to make money. Im thinking craigslist ad. I can do yard work and electronics. Some land scape type of stuff. I could paint a house too lol. Got any new pics of your charger?

Hey uhh... You got an email? i'd like to show you the pics of the Charger.

Edelbrock carbs are junk?

really:no:

In my opinion they aren't any good for someone looking for the "most" out of a carb.

If you want something to drop on, get a decent idle, get close with all your settings they're fine. I'll never run one, my friends and I have all had these things and once i sold them on a Barry Grant Demon carb from FBO it was game over for Edlebrock, Much easier tune, set up & better MPG.

i have a carter copy edelbrock on my 69 runner with 383 been there 13 years now . runs great everytime and when i punch it , it goes like hell .

my 2 cents

If i've been reading right, Carter AVS/AFB carbs. These where used for "performance" carbs until 71. Then bought out by Edelbrock which produces the same "Carters" with a few changes but most parts are interchangeable and all made by Weber.

The cars almost done. I put sound deadener all over the floor and vibration dampener's. The engine bay was painted flat black, I didn't like it so i grabbed some semi gloss rust paint that matched my body paint pretty damn good. Same colour in the trunk also. The side marker lights have been shaved off and I've stuck the 2 back ones up in the trunk so i have lights that i can see whats in there lol and stuck the front ones up front but I'm changing the bulbs to red to see if it lights the grille area up red. If its cheesey it won't stay like that.

Head liner is in and interior dome light. Working on replacing all the rubber seals and will be installing the rear wing and front valance soon.

Oh DAMN!!! That engines sexy! Well cant wait itll shes done!!! I hope mine looks good when i find the right 1!!!

lol Engine bays is all spray can rust paint, Its was a near match for the body colour of my car. Use 2 cans of engine paint (dupli-colour). BTW the rust paint is good against scratch's but this winter im going to pull engine and clear coat it. I did some other pieces with the clear top coat and its even better. I used the same paint for all my interior trim also and my dash. I'll get some more pics on here for you.

Cool. Ya know this is what makes me some times think I should get a Coupe. But part of me says I should get a SE... Im very torn! What Do you think? Should I try to get a Charger that looks like yours? Or a SE? Thanks

Nice looking charger there beezee! Man i hope the next 6 weeks go by fast! Oh and I can find my 73/74 Charger Coupe/Hardtop! Does it have a blower?

"AxelsMopar" Its what every you like more really. I'm not a fan on the SE 1/4 window design or the window covering. Chance's are you can find a coupe over the SE, But the SE has a nicer interior set up then the coupe/hardtop did form factory. Nothing you can't change on a coupe.

Personally I don't think I would paint it black lol hard to keep clean and scratch free. This picture is the Original colour and what i'll get in sprayed in 2 summers from now.
