My '69 Super Bee project

I'm going to try to get the brake lines finished up this weekend. I decided to use a manual proportioning valve, for the rear brakes as I have discs out back. IMG-20150501-00703.jpgIMG-20150501-00704.jpg

I took the bag off the rear end today to see if a vent tube for a 8.75 would fit the 9 inch, and yes it does.IMG-20150501-00707.jpg

Thanks MT_Mopar. I had a bit of a set back,I installed the manual box,and was about to put the column in,but the coupler won't go on the box! The splined shaft on the box is larger diameter than the coupler, and I'm not sure if the manual and power ones are the same?

Seems like no one ever gets through projects this intense without a few mishaps no matter how careful you are. Project is looking good! Looking forward to seeing the end result.

. I'm coming up on the end of mine myself. I don't have the skills to do all the work like you do so I have to rely on others. Time is dragging on but the end is in sight. I'll be posting pic I hope in a few weeks. If not then it won't be until the end of the summer.

I hear ya GetX'd. I haven't seen any updates on your car in a while,I assume it's at the body shop?

I don't know about skills,I do the work I can out of pure frustration, and disappointment from previous experiences. I'm sure everyone has a horror story! I can relate to you on the length of time owning a car,I bought my Charger when I was 18 also!

Not much to report,I've been sand blasting the bumper brackets. Fronts are done!IMG-20150526-00761.jpg

I had to order a manual coupler after...the thing ain't cheap! I have it installed along with the column.IMG-20150531-00767.jpg

I hear ya,before I started the build I took about two months and cleared out stuff around the car. Threw out a lot of good stuff, but I couldn't move in the garage. After the car being apart for so long...it really is a great feeling taking the parts I've had for may years and putting them on the car!

A few more parts bolted on,next step is to bleed the brakes.IMG-20150602-00769.jpgIMG-20150602-00770.jpg

I can't seem to find the fittings for the proportioning valve? IMG-20150604-00772.jpg So I've been cleaning up some of the interior pieces and taking it easy!

I finally got my brakes finished, all bled.and my front windshield showed up today. now to set it in and lock it in place.IMG-20150623-00810.jpg

Car is looking great Chargin, how much longer before she's all painted?
