My 70 GTX never ending story

I bought this car back in 2003 out from under a tarp in a guys side yard. all apart and gutted out. he had started a restoration, got all the metal work done and painted an ugly charcoal met gray. After spending a day digging in basement,garage. and inside car to inventory we struck a deal. the main thing missing was the matching motor. I spent 6mos. tracking it down finally to find that the builders shop it was at had scraped it. had new floor pan put in and find that the new rear gtrs. were not hung right and had to cut loose and redo allignment. Didn't like that paint anyway. life happens. kids, sick dad, work ... you know, do what you can when you can. Alot of changes and searching for things. It came back to life this last summer with a 493cuin 6pk stroker (500hp) 4spd. in 2009 Audi black cherry pearl. not done yet on to finish interior and some trim. Hope to go see the world 2021.

I like it! I like it! I have a 68 "X" that has been going through the same things for alot longer
than yours so don't feel bad! I gotta try talking you out of that oil pan though. How far down below the K-Frame
does that baby sit? Pic? I have a brand new Milodon 7QT. pan similar to that one without the tapered bump-outs
and I didn't go with it because of ground clearance. I came up with the money and bought their road race pan.
Everything looks great!

Im about an 1 1/4 low and plan to raise the front some to help but your right will have to be careful. wish i had seen the pan you showed. I will keep that in mind and should have thought of that since i also work on open wheel nascar modifieds.
