My new to me 64 Polara

It's always great when a fellow member comes through for you. Thanks Dave.

While we are on the subject of molding clips, the reason I needed these is because the molding on my RF fender just fell off the car one day. Good thing it wasn't when I was driving. All the clips were on the molding and I didn't see any of the expansion pins that I see in the clips I received from Dave. Another thing I noticed is the molding was always too high on the fender, like it was installed with the clips upside down. (because of the offset of the pin) Saying all that, I would think you install the clips in the proper position and snap the molding onto them.

I believe the molding misalignment is just a factory f**k up. Mine is the same and never been apart. Have seen others the same

Usually the last clips on a panel are a metal one with stud, that allows adjustment in the hole up or down, to align to the next trim piece. Try this adjustment.

Thanks for the clips Dave. I got my molding put back on securely and headed to the Mopars On the Mississippi show last Sunday. The last out of town car show I tried driving to I had issues and turned around and nursed it home. I did overhaul the carb and put in some 93 octane gas and a 3 hour round trip at 65-70 mph was no problem. There were some dandy early B body cars in my class. I had a great time. @MWbirdLOVER70 and his wife stopped by and introduced themselves. It's always fun to meet members at a show.

Your 64 looks very nice.
We have gone to Mopars On The Mississippi a number of times. The cruises they had for a few years were another fun part of their show. We missed them when they didn't have them any more. Always a big show on Sunday.

Thanks. I just pulled it out of the garage and drove it over. I was happy to make it there and back without issues. The last photo above was at the gas station near the show. I didn't need any gas to get home.  I didn't keep track of the miles but I am guessing 13 mpg or so.

There was a Cruise In on Saturday but I don't find any info about it. It is a fun show.
