My new to me 64 Polara

I have seen a few good sized vendors bail out on the big shows. They can make more money by staying home and selling online..
One vendor I know talked about how much it cost him to vend at the Nats or Carlisle. Thousands of dollars invested and you have to sell a lot of re-pop screw kits and radio knobs to make up that cost. 3 trucks with enclosed trailers, lot's of fuel, a week's lodging for 4-6 people. Food for 4-6, rent a huge tent, side curtains are extra, Vender booth spaces, (they usually rent 6-8), and all the set up and tear down. Oh, at least 2 days to pull the merchandise and pack it before you leave and then put it away when you get back home. Nuff said.

You really have to applaud Layson's for continuing to show up at the Nationals from the West coast. What many may not know, is they hang around the area after the Mopar Nationals, and show up at MoparFest, New Hamburg, Ontario, the next weekend. It must be a paperwork nightmare going back and forth across the border. With recent developments between our countries, I doubt that Layson's will make the trip into Canada anymore.
