Mystery regarding side stripes on the 74...

Lord only knows... it's definitely been refreshed in its life. Lots of bondo in the usual spots, this stripe mystery... WHO KNOWS. Fun to dig into it though!

Nacho, was the side stripe available for the SE in 1973 as well? I thought it was just the Rallye? I am now wondering if it was available on SE's as well.

On 73 just for Rallyes. Standard black, optional red gradated.

On 74 SEs ( same to any other model ) seems could get red and gold, being black and copper exclusive for Rallyes and SS respectively.


This is per what the dealer books say at least.

Actually that is a 74 ( spring special of course ). I have pics of that car around saved on my PC, but not because that like because the steering wheel is a 74 new release and replacement for the older 3 spokes wheel.


Aaaaand the 3 points full retractable seatbelt setup on it, also new for 74.
