What is a good shade of black and brand for ramcharger duct work?
Satin, flat, or semi flat
Used Eastwood under hood black satin for brackets etc. But thinking a little too glossy.
Any help appreciated!
Thank you in advance

Factory finish was shinier than my opinion of satin. Not painted more of a gelcoat, so paint won't give the correct finish anyway as you could see fine strands in it. Sorry that doesn't really help you.

There are brands of spray paint that offer what is called Spider Web affects, that from afar, could give that raw gelcoat look. They come in a mist green, which would probably look closest. Black, Silver, White. Here's an example of the black spider web.

Again, despite popular belief and somewhere in the last 56 years later being painted to clean them up... they are not Black, but the same Walnut Brown of your cabin heater box..

Appreciate the help to all!
My situation is I have 2 outer pieces originally 69 and the Center section from a 70 which some one painted gloss black used paint remover to remove old paint ! Know originally it was a brownish as Dadsbee said I am not going concourse!
Most what I see at shows have been painted just after info As to what people use for sheen be it flat or satin and I know it’s my car and I can do whatever I want.
Thanks you

No one seems to be listening... Like the man said, a gray/brown tone with visible fibers....
