I'm pretty sure it would work the same as the one designed for the air scoop actuator. It says it is for AC system ductwork actuators on Chrysler cars.
I'm not concerned about it being NOS or "correct" and it looks almost identical to the real deal.
I've seen rusty real ones for $130, and NOS vacuum cans for (EEK!) $600+ !
This new one is under $100 and I definitely need to boost my vacuum (around 12-13 at idle) if the scoop is going to work.
Please chime in!

THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS UP....the link show the identical vacuum reservoir as the N96 uses. I will likely buy one for a spare....the price is great.

Here's one on FleaBay: $129

And the one I'm buying today after I call them: $87

Looks like the vacuum nipples and cap on the new one are plastic vs metal.

Yeah, well I want you around next time I go to the casino!
I did see some others for $40 or so that weren't as ratty as the used one I posted at $129, but I also saw one NOS with the box for (OMG/EEK!) $650
I'm just glad to have another box checked for the collection of parts to get my N96 setup finished.

A lot of money for a juice can with a mounting bracket and some fitting in the end of it.
I've thought the same, but it's the check valve that I'd have to search for.
I'm freaking THRILLED to find a new can that is very similar in appearance and is going to add up to the still yet to be finished accumulation of parts that will take me from an Air Grabber that's permanently "Grabbing Air" to one that I can lower, in case I get caught in the rain.
Eventually I'd like to trade my lower air filter base plate with the rain guard metal dam across the front for one without that.

I have my entire original vac can. The workings of how to remove the valve intact and install it into a new can are the only things preventing it being done. That and I really don't presently need it in the system to keep the headlight doors on the Charger open. It has not been a problem.
