need help on adjusting kick down

The procedure is in the FSM, you do have one don't you?

Is your carb, intake and kickdown linkage stock? If not, the FSM won't be much help but may get you in the ball park....

Have someone hold throttle to floor, while adjusting kickdown to full extension. that is all there is to it.

The transmission will change manually by linkage, just not by itself .someone made a drag car out of it could they have done something to the transmission to make it do this?
