Wow, just caught this story! Poopdeck, I hope that shop isn't located in Jackson County, MO and you end up going after money.

If you're using plastic tarps, I humbly suggest you make a trip to the thrift store and buy some nice 100% cotton sheets. I look for the highest thread count I can find - 800+, preferably Pima and Egyptian cotton, I've been surprised at the nice sheets I've found. You'll need two Kings and a Queen.

What happened with your prepay cash then?

I have to go over the paperwork and make comparisons as to what was done, and what needed done. Then get a quote for another shop to do it. Then we might be heading to court. They tried to give me an invoice of over $3,000 as I walked out. Told them I will get back with them on that.
