I have a 73 charger with original 318 that has a 360 4-barrel intake with 600 Holley. What would be a good cam size?

:welcome: aboard!

This is the place to introduce yourself and tell us about your car, you'll get more responses if you post your question in Engine, Trans & Driveline forum.

Oh post some pictures of your car too, we love pictures.

doesn't the 360 intake have the same port window as a 340? if so there's probably a big mismatch with the heads.

I have a 360/360 HP in my 67 Belvedere II plenty of power I'm going to my garage then end of the week I will send you the cam specs.

Better question would be what diff ratio should I run.

'73 318 Charger would likely have a high ratio gearset...2.76, 2.94.

Better off with a 3.23 or 3.55, if you want to win a few traffic light grand prix.

Welcome to the site.360's are prity stout motors .You'll need to post another ? In the general section to get the best results. In this section you introduce your self and your car share pictures too. We will need to know some more info on your setup you can't just shove a big cam and go it will fall flat on its face . Gears intake carb exhaust so on are very important you need better air flow in to get more power out start a new thread in general ?'s and give your info there and you'll get tons of input.
A lot of these guys will come out and say drop a 440 in it witch is doable but I'm a fan of small blocks a 340-360 are great motors and with the right parts will run around a big block all day long (trust me ) I've put many big blocks to shame with my tiny small blocks right now I'm building my 72 rallye charger with a forged internal 340 magnum with built 2.02 (69) spec heads it's given the 440 in my other 72 a run for its money before I pulled the car apart so if you want to talk 3rd gen charger s p.m. me and we can talk good luck

welcome to FBBO

good luck with the 318 build & camshaft selection

I found a set of '71 J heads off a 340 and I got a 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears in it. But I wont put all of that on until I get some more parts. Thanks for the advice.
