Need more throttle...

Running a 572 hemi with an Indy intake and Dominator. Using the closest hole to the throttle shaft on the the carb I still can't get WOT. My cable is properly adjusted. Is there any way to get more travel? I need about an extra 1/4 inch.

Just a thought but if you are using all the available cable and the cable is attached to the lowest hole on the carb then the only place to get more arch is at the gas pedal mechanism inside. I had to do that once on a race car but in reverse order. I had too much travel and when I was at WOT it would put extra pressure on the throttle shaft. It finally egged the shaft holes and that was that. I went to a Lokar cable. It was a little more adjustable but I really prefer a Mopar cable.

I'm using a mopar cable that's about 4 inches longer. I wonder if I can bend the pedal lever a little to get more pull.
