Need the pro's advice!

If you have a 3.91 all set up, drop it in and try it out. I understand it's a True Trac. Just drop it in and if you don't like it no money lost. Right?

Hard to get a straight answer around here sometimes. :D

Yes and no, its i need to buy the set up first.. I think the problem is that ive havent really understand the difference between the Truetrac and what i have is

Still clueless google aint make'in me smarter either. Is it really that of an gamble?

To my way of thinking. If you cannot afford to gamble on the 3.91 True Trac, leave the 3.23 in there.

From what I have seen on you tube, I think you will like the true track. I did see one racer have a problem (Or several), but that was with a 8.8 ford, with c-clips. An 8 3/4 retains the axles much better, and in a different way. I would keep your 3.23 intact and try the 3.91 true track.

Check out crawlpedia (filthy motorsports) on you tube. Obviously an off-road shop, but they talk about open, lsd, torsen (true track) lockers, selectable lockers lockers that can be put in open carriers and spools. About 26 minutes of good info.
