Need to dial back my 440 to make it more street-able

I run the 509 and love it but it is not a modern muscle car with a luxury ride

I run the 3.91 gear but have a 28 inch tall tire and that helps a lot

The biggest thing I did to make my car more civilized was change the exhaust
I had the Flowmaster 40s on it for years and damn were they loud inside the car
New 2.5 pipes, X-pipe, and Flowmaster FlowFX mufflers (the mufflers engine masters say only lost 2 HP)
The car is a much more civilized beast now
The change inside the car is huge
conversation and music are a game changer lol
Added electric cutouts as well for when I need to be loud & proud

The difference caught me completely off guard

I traded my GT 500 Mustang for an SRT Challenger because of the exhaust and got tired of that stiff clutch. If you drive for any distance, you have to have no nagging issues of any kind, big or small. Like a dripping faucet.

The combination of the Lemon Twist high impact paint, black vinyl roof, and black stripes, adding the symphony of my 3" exhaust with X pipe and Flowmasters OR flipping the switch on my Doug's electronic cutouts (3") all to the beat of my 292°/.509 cam....ahhh BLISSFUL!!
