went out 1st round on a red light.
the tree was having some major issues making us go back up for 3 redoes.
tree was cross talking causing the tree to put up a yellow bulb then a split second later all 3 go down for our usual protree .500
well after 3 attempts at the bogus tree and racing against a 12.62 car on my 10.30 dialin, i decided i couldnt wait any longer so i bulbed.
the tree played mind games on me yesterday.oh well thats racing.
no pics sorry.

Chris,

Was it hot there?

Dad's in Martin Mi. it was 4000-4500 feet yesterday.

Sorry to hear about the tree issues.

Was 96 degrees with 40% humidity. Time slips said 3373 CALT.
I lost in the second round- lost the rear brakes. Pass rear wheel cylinder decided to go away- as i was pumping the brakes to set the line lock!
Thank God it happen there, the net at the end of the strip would made a big mess of the car:cry:

glad you caught it at the line. i wasn't so lucky at island years ago. lost brakes at the stripe and almost hit the barrier at the end.thank goodness the 63 was only going 11.30's at the time otherwise i might not be here to tell the story.:black_eye:

Ange, I agree with Chris, good call on the line, that would have not have been a good out come!

3300 feet.... What a difference a year makes. Last year 3300 feet would have been some of the worst air we raced in. This year it's been in the 4000 range for us. I know you guys don't see over 3000 feet much.

Kevin

going to give it another try this sunday at island dragway. i dont think there will be much of a turnout. its too friggin hot, but i'm addicted.
