Neutral safety switch source one that's not too long.

I just bought a neutral safety switch from carquest/ advanced and of course it's about a 1/8 -in too long. I don't get reverse lights unless unthreaded one and a half turns. Anyone have a source for one that is the proper length? I did see a picture comparison on this forum, Yep too long. I need a 3 prong for a 71 727

NS11 or NS11t should be right. You are saying the one you got is 8 inches longer than that?

Typo should have read eighth of an inch too long.

Tried one from AutoZone. Same issue. I saw on a form the ones from auto zone would work. Nope no reverse lights unless I unscrew a turn and a half. I double washered and snugged up a bit more than hand tight for now. Not really happy but it all works. The bevel is also different see picture.

The one on the right looks chinese. Are you using a washer that should have come with it?
