just replaced my worn out fan clutch.can't believe how much cooler the car runs, but the new clutch is loud (2765 hayden) not a heavy duty just standard.do these things quiet down some as they are used?old one was quiet but obviously worn out.i guess a little loud is better than hot.

the 2765 Hayden should be a HD Clutch.... right ? so this clutch is engaged 5-10 % more... result : a little louder.... but also cools better

Greetings Juergen

P.S I am rnning a fixed 6 Blade race fan... 19,25 " this one´s realy loud ! Like a Turboprop aircraft... smile

Just to throw my 2 cents in here: These clutch fans can be noisey when 1st fired up in the morning. This is due to the silicone settling when not in use. However after a minute or two, it should quiet down a bit. Plus if you are use to an old, bad clutch, they seem WAAAAAY LOUD when in reality you just got use to the quiet of a bad clutch...or at least that is what happend to me. ;)

..I will order a Hayden 2765 also... driving with a fixed fan isn´t very funny at all The sound is horror

Will call Summit ... hope they have the fan clutch in stock

Greetings Juergen

P.S what kind ( size ) of fan are you running ? 5, 6 or 7 blades ??

Juergen,i'm running an 18" 6 blade fan.put a 2 row aluminum radiator in it last summer.just replaced the ac system a few months ago and still cools fine with ac on.
