New glasstek hood

Thing is fitting terrible... the back not so bad but the front is everything but straight... i've had 2 professional body guys come look at it... one guy wants 1000$ just to get started on making it fit correctly... maybe more... we put the original hood back on just so he could see it fits perfectly.... glasstek may be getting this one back....

Holes drilled and inserts are at least three quarters of an inch off... no wonder they recomend hood pins.....the front lip of the hood does not follow the grill at all... original hood does perfect....

I have their decklid and rear bumper on my 69 belvedere; both are excellent. Shame, but I guess no ones perfect. I'd call them, maybe they can work something out at one of the Carlisle meets to avoid shipping and so you can see it in person.

I bought a front clip, deck lid, rear bumper, and big cowl hood for a 69 Dart years ago from them. All fit bad. I spent probably 80 hours re-working it all. I remember calling them about how bad it was and they told me I was on my own.

I will never buy anything from the them again.

stay away from their 64-65 hemi scoops, not square,need to be reworked $$.guy that called me back said they are all like that,sorry.

I waited over a month for this hood.... I took it off.... Ain't worth the headaches.... Stock hood back on... Don't know what i'm going to do now.....

Call them up and talk to them and if they tell you to pound sand tell them you will post lots of pics on face book and slander them. If you don't want to bother, then sell the hood at a loss and be done with it.

I'm trying my best to make it work.... It's the hood i want on the car .... I will sell it if i can't get it right. Someone with a racecar would use it....

I got mine from Pentastar, but it seems they dropped off the face of the earth.
