NEW HEMI

i'm working up an idea for cooling booth in n out manifold . it might work it may just be junk . but i want to try .

radiator between blower and manifold
works great in a boat what with marina gas

I'm confused. Who's thread is this?

No need to stop on account of me, yours is new too. Always interesting to see what others are doing.

i just don't need complainers . my project is an a body of sorts its an austin a40 coupe . gasser style . its still in the works . gathering you know of these old hotrod parts can run you around . and of course the early hemi stuff and american racing magnesium rims . but an austin a40 with a donovan hemi blown is at the top of my list of cool rides . and yes it will be a street/strip car , just like the gassers of yes'r year .

nope there here water goes in the sides and out the heads . and my adam's nascar pump put the water in through the sides of the block . so i can maintain big coolant track psi , as must as i can get to 50 psi to keep the cylinders from boiling off the coolant . i should not say coolant it water .

Now that’s going to be a real blast from the past!

I think you have the fixin's for a great project. And the OP said go for it! I know I'll be paying attention.

i'm hoping for that new intake i'm doing will run the charge through inner coolers then back to the intake ports , that will be dry of fuel . i'll inject the fuel into the intake runners . and i'm still debating type of fuel gas vs e85 , it could be a gasser on e85 and it would run cooler than gas . and more c/r as well . pistons i got with the block n sleeves are meth or alky c/r , could be made to work with e85 .

i just left my bud butches shop , were he was putting the finishing touches on a pair of ported stainless steel valved 354 hemi heads , 60 hours in the porting n bleeding . i ask him if he was wanting to do more , i have three pairs that could use his handy work , he just started to LOL . guess not . lol . here is a pic of a 392 he built with his home made intake n carb setup . and a pic of his flathead home made intake n carbs for an early digger he hand built as well .
