I’m not sure what’s wrong describing 75 year old man, to call an old man?! I did that to give full picture, where he said himself that he’s done with projects and his sons aren’t interested.

Certainly empathize with your trying to decide how much to spend. The last 63 I saw was a complete basket case, needing everything but was a pretty darn solid body. Guy was thinking close to $10K for that one. Seems you're looking at more positives than negatives with what you describe. I'd go for it. Seems to fit the bill for what you're after. What someone paid really isn't relevant to your decision.
