New ride 2020 Ram

No flies on that, maybe you can make a deal.
I'm trying but they want more than I am willing to pay a month. 48 month lease 10,000 miles, I wanna pay 1st months payment plus taxes and fees down and $400 a month. They want $3500 down and $499 a month. I don't need it that bad, my old farm truck still runs fine. I barely average 1000 miles a year being on the road as much as I am. I will keep haggling or I will walk away.

Nice, but trucks sure are getting expensive, and I would want a 2500 with the Cummins.
True about the cost, lol. Don't need a 2500 and far from a fan of diesels. And don't need one of them either. Still like the sound of a gas motor.

10K miles a year or total for the 4 year lease? Surely they will make a better deal on a standard cab low option truck, unless they think it will be a hard sell 4 years down the road.

10,000 miles a year. All they keep telling me is that the terms of a commercial lease are different. They will give me a 1500 on my terms, just not the 2500. I can't see a low mileage 2500 being a hard sell in 4 years, but I guess they figure the average trucking company that buys that truck is going to beat the crap out of it.

I have plenty of V8 music to listen to. A truck for me is for work and towing.

The way I understand a lease is, if it comes back in 4 years with more than normal wear, you get charged for the repairs. Is commercial different?

I'm not sure, the salesman can't explain it to me clearly. I don't think that they know. I want to lease it because purchasing it doesn't make sense for me. It will rot away before it even gets broken in, I might as well give it back and get another one.

congrats on a beautiful truck!
I stopped by the dealership yesterday after church. I don't nothing but miss my Cummins since I sold it a couple of years ago.
They had some really good deals on 1500's...I just can't see paying $50-70k on a vehicle.
They had a Larimie 4x4 $42k and a couple of the SLTs for $35k... Seemed like.pretty good deals...I just have a hard time stomaching the depreciation...
I really like the blue, they only had one on the lot.

Nice looking truck! I've been casually looking, I want a 1500 crew cab with 6.5' bed and a Rambox™. Seems to me the quad cab back seat is slightly too small, and the crew cab back seat is slightly too big, so it's better to be too big. I emailed Ram and asked them if the Rambox was available in 6.5' and they never responded. So I went to a dealer that had about 60 Rams on the lot 1500/2500/3500, and not one had a Rambox™.

I've been sort of half arsed looking since mine is a 2011. I know mine is one of the last non DEF, so i have a list of potential buyers lol. The Dealer (small town, known for 40 yrs) wants it bad. It still has less than 50K mi on it, and will tow anything. If you can put wheels under it, it can pull it. People don't believe it has 4.10 gears as "diesels never had that option ", ok it's on the window sticker.
I will end up with another Ram, but don't need the Cummins, so a Larime us in the cards soon. And yes you can get a 2500, with 4.10's, and a 6.4 gas, hmmmm........

Good luck with the new truck, that is gorgeous.

Nice truck. If I ever get rid of these teen aged girls I am planning on getting one.

I’ve been looking for a Laramie 5500. With the 84” cab to axle so I can run an 11’ aluminum bed. I don’t want white or black and I have not found one yet. Nationwide search. Dealer found one in Canada, but I don’t want/need it that bad. It’s not a have to, my one ton does what I ask of it, but sometimes I think I’m pushing it. I have considered freightliner business class crew cab and flatbed or similar but it’s not real practical for daily driving. But the air ride would be nice. Great looking truck! Congratulations!

Congratulations on acquiring the nice truck. Your Cordoba looks nice too.

Congrats on your new ride. Sharp looking truck and Cordoba.
I bought a '19 1500 Bighorn QC last year and just love it.

That sucks, don't think I would want it with body work and paint and being that new. I'd be a bit pissed.

that thought crossed my mind, been waiting on the ordered truck for about 2 months, I insisted they send it to my body shop, had the painless dent guy work his magic, just a touch of filler, and paint that was blended into the front door and quarter, can't see anything they did a great job as usual. its headed back to the dealer tomorrow for final prep, gonna pic it up friday, when I get a break from work. my first diesel kind of excited i bought a 2017 winnebago 27ft 5th wheel also, me the wife and our two old dogs are gonna do a 5000 mile loop around the country in october, I got about the smallest one i could find, we'll see how it pulls its about 9000 lbs. less than half the trucks pulling capacity should be a breeze.
