New scam going around

S.S. never calls unless they send a letter first with date & time they will call, or unless they are answering a call One has initiated.

We get a lot of calls from a foreign number, but when you answer it cuts off. Other ones who actually talk to me, sound like they are in an Indian call centre. I usually tell them to "have sex with themselves" (in other words of course) male or female, I don't care.
Really upsets them too.

The tell tale sign on the robot calls I have received are when they use unprofessional words. They said “if you don’t respond, we’ll call the cops..”
who says that on a legit collection call haha?? They have been watching too many tv shows! ***-hats.

Had to block my own phone number. Some jerks selling solar panels kept spoofing with my number.

need to learn to use caller block features on your phone

I scene everything, also use caller ID
& If I don't know or recognize the #
it gets blocked

Unfortunately they change their #'s from time to time too
so you have to stay on-top of it

even the robocall signup/blocks don't work completely

you just have to be smarter than the scammer

seems more you answer & attempt to mess with them back
seems the more they will call back too
IMO it Seems like they just put you down for a repeat call/list
to **** with you

you can't win,
you can get a little vengeance,
but they will still call
it's the age of autodial/robocall sales & scams alike

Landline or cell, it doesn't matter

I add many of the more severe scams to the
National do not call registry, list, (look it up)
it helps them to keep track
it's certainly not a stop all either

truly sad part is, some people actually fall for that BS
