well did a little work to my project tonight after work. Unbolted the front seat and removed it and the back seat, carper (what was left of it) and started vaccuming the rust dust up. Have some holes in the floor pans but not to bad. A friend of mine rebuilds Chevys said if the floors weren't too bad to fiberglass them after treating the rust. Has holes in the lower firewall below where the steering column bolts to it. I have already purchased a roof, rear window deck with cowel attached and trunk hinge brackets attached with a portion of wheel tub tops attached as well for $570.00. Found a really good hood for $50.00 and a set of Magnum 500 wheels w/center caps for $190.00 so far. Will keep looking for the best price on the items I need before I buy. Haven tried to start the 318 LA engine yet. Will try before I remove it though so I know what I have there. Will take me some time but will take my time and do the best possible job I can on her. She is rough but I am sure glad I found her before she got worse. Will try to get more pictures posted if I can get everything to work right.

:hello2:Floors seem pretty solid. Lots of rust dust, seat springs ect.. Seats are toast. not going to be able to salvage them. Almost all seat frames nothing hardly left. Will post more pics when I get another chance to work on her.

welcome fellow TENNESSEAN. i live south of lebanon

Been to Lebanon a couple times to the fair grounds. I am in McMinnville. Where south do you live? I think I bit off a little more than I can chew. I am a fairly decent mechanic but I have never cut out and welded in body panels or anything like that. Sounds like it gets quite involved. From what I have been reading there must be some charts available somewhere for panel differences apart from each other and so on for proper fit. Got to run for now.
