Hi everyone in Cyberville!

I hope to learn and share Mopar knowledge with you all! Maybe even compare scars from knuckle-busting on these great cars!

I currently possess two dangerous b-body projects, which I believe are literally trying to kill me! One is a '69 Coronet "gasser" (original a /6 car) It is housing a 6-71 blown 426 hemi and 4 speed trani. I fabricated a straight axle front suspension with a custom coil-over 4-link. It has zoomie headers and huge Mickeys out back on a Dana 60.

The other maniacal money pit is a '72 Satellite. It is being build to the tune of a pro-touring theme with a small block 360 6 pack, and hopefully one day coupled to McLeod's new 5 speed manual trani, when it becomes available later this year. (so they say)

Someday when both cars are finished, I'll have two options. If I'm feeling high, I'll drive the "69"... if I'm feeling low, I'll take the '72! By the way, I named my Satellite, "Hooligan" ...meaning: Loud trouble-maker!

I'm sorry that I don't have any pics to share at this time, but I plan on posting build threads on both supercars, as soon as I get everything situated in my hazardous "Gorilla Garage". Yep, I'm gunna show those G-monkeys what I can do with a small budget, a hatchet, and a welder!

To be continued...

Welcome to fbbo. Look forward to seeing your projects. I know what it like to have 2 going at once. Its insanity

Welcome. Was that 69 for sale awhile back?

Fun. Fun. Fun.
Lacking pictures, whimsy is nice.

Nope. Not my '69. I'll never give up on this dream car! However, I did sell my soul to get the Hemi for it... hah!

Well, I had 5 more pics, but they won't down load due to a format issue. Damn! I really wanted to post the Coronet's blown Hemi and the straight axle pics! Anyway, The 1st pic is of my "Gorilla Garage" cheerleader, or more appropriately, my mascot. He or "it" is named, "Dead Head Fred". Not for his love of the Grateful Dead... it is because, well, Fred is dead. Fred will be over-seeing all of my work, and keeping me motivated when things get out of control. As it did when I hit myself in the head with the hatchet, but I deleted that picture!
Sadly the paint job on the Coronet is horrible! It looks great in the pics, but trust me, it is crappy! In fact, the car is already in another shop getting repainted, which is paint shop number #6. I lost a total of about $20,000 with the first 5 shops, so hopefully I will win this time! I designed the hood flames and taped them off for the previous A-hole painter, and now they are completely sanded off! (sigh) The side pic of the Coronet is a double billboard '71 'Cuda theme with a '71 Super Bee hood decal in between.
The Coronet on the rotisserie was sprayed entirely with POR 15. Notice the large rat sitting on the front of the rotisserie... Dead Head Fred later ate it!

The Satellite is wearing a E-body shaker scoop from Stinger Fiberglass, and the 360 6 pack engine will be losing those stock cast iron exhaust manifolds for a set of polished stainless steel headers, which may come as a shock to everyone because I did something truly different, and Fred went wild over the idea! And I tell ya, Fred is not easily impressed! All in all, I hope I live through these two extremely dangerous builds, and I will post a build thread as soon as I get things organized, or should I say... under control. The Satellite will be built first, but I will have updates and more pics on the Coronet from time to time because I am afraid of what Fred will do to me if I don't!

welcome to FBBO, from hot & dry NorCal

Heyyyyyy... Where did everybody go?! I posted some pictures for ya. Don't be afraid of Dead Head Fred!

Welcome from Mi. Looks like the cars are going to be sweet. Hopefully you can get the other pics to post soon. Good luck.
