Newbie question

Hi all,

I'm a newbie from Nampa, ID. I own a 70 Road Runner 440 engine having trouble with the rear main seal leaking. Open to suggestions on how to fix.

Hello Calebjr, There is a machine shop in Boise that may be able to help. Moffit & Bratton Automotive Machine shop. Hopefully this will help.

Pull the oil pan, pull the rear main seal holder thing (brain not working yet..) here is a vid showing it apart... you can do it in the car.. it's a horrible job but has to be done.. On the upside i don't believe you have to remove the main cap...
