Hello Everyone,

Brand new to the forums. From Houston TX. Tomorrow I'm looking at a '65 Coronet post built like an A990. Planning on buying it unless it turns out to be a complete dud. Will be my first Mopar. I've always wanted an early Hemi non-original car I can have fun in. Very excited.

Welcome from the central coast of Cal.[Still fighting the gravitational pull out here]. Someday, it will get fixed.

I bought it. Here's the ebay link of death:

Flew up to Michigan and checked it out and drove it. I hope to have it shipped next week. I'd be surprised if previous owners haven't been on this forum. I have a folder of documents to go through.

Looks like a pretty good re-creation from what little I know. Somebody spent some real money to get this done. 477 cid street Hemi built in 2007, 727 reverse manual. It does not have Holley 4160's. It has Edelbrocks.

About 2,500 miles on the car since 2007, so a garage queen. Looks to be painted before 2015 from photos and magazine shoot dates and no rust that I can see.

You could eat off the underside of the car -- if you like the taste of diff fluid, trans fluid and oil. It has some small leaks from sitting. No big deal. I'll address them as I go. Also, Driver's turn signal and break lights don't work and lol the dipstick tube broke when i went to check the oil.

Going to clean it up and put it in the driving/racing rotation. Should have it in the garage from shipping next week.
