Hi guys,

My 69 RR came with front and rear bumpers guards on the bumpers when I purchased the car from the original owner. However they are not listed on the fender tag. Is it possible that they are still original and were installed in the factory?
I am not certain as I thought all options installed in the factory were listed on the fender tag....

The dealer may have installed them after delivery. Wouldn't worry about it. There are no certitudes 40 years after the fact.

depends on where was the car built also , build sheet should show more info then the tag

Not all options are listed on a fender tag. What was coded on the tag and when it was coded varies by plant and by time of year. The BS is the best place to check as to how a car was built.

You can get a copy through Chrysler. Search it on this forum.

Not so sure about that. AFAIK, they don't have any info on cars from '68 on. I had tried to get info on my '69 Road Runner and couldn't get any from them.

I stand corrected. I got the info from Chrysler on my 63 Fury. Wasn't aware that they didn't do later models. Sorry about that.
