The factory manuals, parts and service, are superior to anything out there. However, they are not perfect. You need to gather as much info as possible to help out. Its too bad the Mopar magazine publications dwindled to two from like 6? I think. Forums help, other enthusiasts help. You for sure need lots of problem solving ability. And don't worry if you don't know everything. You can always learn more. I do everyday

Some of the auto store manuals (not factory literature) are funny, look up how to remove dash only to find: "1. Remove dash."
Then it gets even better as the install the dash instructions are "reverse the removal process steps".

At one place I worked at, I had the FUN task of putting a 67 Camaro back together that the car owner had taken apart probably 10 years prior. He had mixed up parts from other shops it had dwelled in plus was missing a ton of stuff due to him. I looked on Youtube to see how to put the quarter windows together. Had some info but the guy doing the vid left out a huge amount of info. YT can be a help but don't count on it giving you all you need. That bowtie was a pain. Tap into your local braintrust and be willing to trade time for time or labor for labor if you find someone to help you. Grab any old Mopar magazines when you hit swaps or garage sales. Before I moved, I had 4 big plastic tubs of the magazines that I tried to bless the SD Mopar club with but no takers so I tossed them, many were the ones that got bought out by TEN before they killed off themselves. There was a ton of info in those that I used to expand my knowledge. Chrysler Power[ before Rolands wife passed away], Mopar Action[ still kicking!], High Performance Mopar[ bought and killed off by TEN], Mopar Muscle[ before TEN got it and turned it into mopar muscle atrophy and then died off] Mopar Collectors Guide[ good source for parts/pieces etc and still kicking too]. Back in the day when these were all available, they all had bitchin articles. They had lots of competition so they couldn't slack off or they would die. Witness TEN.
