Since i have the car sometimes the oil pressure gauge, sometimes the temperature gauge isn't working.
Right now both don't work. (Since about a month now)
Except the clock (needs probably rebuilt) and backlighting (probably the dimmer switch) all other gauges work just fine.
I already checked the fusebox and took out the relevant fuse, everything fine.
We already removed the bulkhead connectors and tested the connections under the hood, i'm not an electronics engineer but it seems fine.
So at this point i'm 99% sure the problem is on the cabin side, inside the dash.
Given 2 gauges make problems, right now both aren't working i assume it's probably not the gauges themself.
Is there a component in the circuit that could make especially the oil pressure and temperature gauge fail?
What could it be?
I will probably remove the gauge cluster / open the dash because i hate aftermarket underdash gauges.
Its a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with the 440 and therefore rallye cluster.
