Older movies you watched lately.....?

Watching Runaway with Selleck. I forgot how hot Kirstie Alley was.

Haven't actually watched any yet, but I've started pining for bad sci-fi and bad horror films as presented in Dayton OH in the 70's and 80's by "Dr. Creep". Similar to Elvira, Dr. Paul Bearer, and Svengoolie.

I've been searching by what bits I remember, to see if I can find the titles.

So Far I have

There was a Paul Bearer host of movies? Was he similar at all to the WWF Paul Bearer?

Tampa/St Pete 1973-95.

When I moved to FL in 88, his cadillac hearse was parked at his son's house, about 2 miles from where I lived.

Paul Bearer's tag line was "I'll be lurking for you".

Dr Creep and Shock Theater ran from 1970 to 1985.

His line was "Hooooo-- Ha-- Haaaaaaaa".

Watched The Grownups the other night.....not bad for a 2010 movie.

I watched Walking Tall last night/this morning for the first time in about 40 years. It's ironic that after all of these years of being made to think that Buford was a bonified folk hero, it turns out that most likely he was the one who murdered his wife.

I watched this one today. Great movie. Burt Lancaster is excellent in it.

I watched this Charles Bronson feature last weekend. Really good, even if a bit dark.

Watching the Duke in McQ. First of all I can't believe he can fit in that '73 Trans Am. It's basass though! I've spotted a '68 Charger, '71 Charger, maybe a Monaco station wagon and a '70 Mach 1, '73 Camaro, maybe a '72 Sebring cop car, lots of other Mopar cop cars.

An SD455 '73 Trans Am sold for $110K on BAT.

I'm betting the car had some modifications done to it for him to fit in.....

Like his poncho station wagon.

I borderline need those same mods.

I's actually an amazing adventure discovering which cars I fit in and which ones I don't.

Sometimes the logic is baffling, like why I fit in a 2004 hyundai elantra, but not in a modern Charger or Challenger.

A couple days ago,I watched 1957 movie Jet Pilot, with John Wayne and Janet Leigh. Never heard of it before.

Watching Red Planet on Howdy. I love well-made sci fi. Their space station on Mars was destroyed and the lady captain reported it as Tango Uniform. I knew that was TU. I looked it up and it means Tits Up. (Dead, Destroyed.)

Tonight's offering from 1937. I liked it. Jimmy Stewart doesn't show up until almost the halfway point.

I love what Hitchcock did with her underwear.

White before she stole the money.

Black after.

No, really Janet, it's very important to the cinematography that you be seen in white underwear and then be seen again in black underwear, are we clear?

Something tells me she didn't mind.....at all.
