Finally ready to reassemble my 69 Bee. What I thought was going to be a refresh and repaint of a good driver has turned into a total restoration, mainly because every time I repaired or had something repaired it necessitated taking off the next thing because it needed repaired as well. I am a bit **** too so that didn’t help. I never intended to remove the engine, trans which had been rebuilt, but glad I did as frame rails needed repair along with some other metal. So entire car, except underneath, had been repaired, replaced, repainted, lots of body work, new quarters, trunk and rear floor pans etc etc.
Pretty much nothing is left on the body, no interior, nothing in the engine, rear end, dash had been restored and in bench etc. I even had to replace the wiper pivots etc. Fuel lines, brake lines, e brake etc are all new but not installed yet.
It is a numbers matching and I have gone back with original colors etc. No build sheet but I do have fender tag. It is a four speed AND has AC from the factory, all the components have been professionally restored.
Anyway, I still have some detailing to do underneath, but I would like any advice, suggestions as to the order of replacement so as not to duplicated any efforts unnecessarily. Much appreciated.
