Organic Paint Mask Filters

In the winter months I don't have enough heat in my shop. I have a "unit heater" just not big enough.

My main hobby during winter is plastic models. I tried to build one but the vapor from the glue bothered me.

My question is in the tittle. Thanks

If all else fails I will invest in a "model paint booth." They are a bit pricey but if organic filters don't work I'll have to invest in one.

I have quite a few kits I collected over the years, I just don't want to give up on the hobby.

Regarding paint filters/masks, a friend who is a painter often told me "if you can smell it, its time to change the filters". So having said that, buy a proper paint mask !!

Yep…just use organic vapor cartridges and seal the mask up inside a zip lock bag when not in use.

Just a half face mask with correct charcoal / vapor cartridges. NOISH approved. Keep them in a sealed bag / container when not in use.

Back in the day, Testors "Red" glue tube had a strong smell, but they had a "Blue" tube that didn't have a strong odor or smelled like lemons or some ****. Personally, I would just suck it up and enjoy the colors man...

ps.. IDK, maybe that is the reason for what's wrong with me today...

Fyi a kid at work has a 3D printer and he is printing out model kits building them. He's in the airplanes but still that would be cool if you could print out your own models
