Hey guys, posted this on another site and no luck, thought id try asking here.
Ok so ive got about a 69 440-block ,an Alum Mopar housing and I bought a p/s pump with brackets from ebay and they dont line up....The brackets seem to be too wide for the housing (see pic below) and definitly doesnt line up the belts. I just figure it must need a diff config of brackets ...Any suggestions would help a ton.thx

as far as i can tell from the pictures, those don't look like the right brackets.maybe somebody else here would have a photo of theirs and you can compare them.i don't have any myself right now.

72Sat, thanks for the help on the cooling system.

I will take a picture of mine tonight and post it for you - the bracket does not seem correct. I do not have that problem.

After looking your pic's over better I see you have a drivers side lower hose, that housing is different My "C" body 440 has that style..Most drop down on the passengers side....That might be the problem you need brackets from a "C" body 440.....My "B" body 440 has the lower passengers side hose and so do both of my buds "B" body 440's......And or....Your brackets might be for an A/C set up,if so your missing 2 brackets that might take up the open space you have.

Thx alot ralph and 74 sundance for the pics and posting- I definitly need a different type thats for sure... My front bracket has no indents in it like both of yours...must be for a ac car prob from a e body...in any case thank you for all the help :)
Little wasted $ on the p/s pump i wont need but im sure it happens to us all...sigh

72 Sat, looks like the rear bracket on your PS pump is angled and pushing it too far forward towards the radiator
