I needed a package try for my 66 Satellite so I went to Year 1 and ordered it. At check out the cost of shipping on $29 item was
$75 so I called them and asked what the deal was, they said it's over sized so UPS. charged accordingly. I canceled order. Went to Classic Ind. and they had the same tray for $29 and shipping was $9.95, WTF. Is Y1 playing the
EBAY shipping game or what. Received the tray this morning in a thin box about 12 by 60 in. and in perfect condition. I'll think twice before I go back to Y 1.

Not the first time I have heard this.

year one has been way over charging for shipping for about the last 10 years now ., they are stupid and losing tons of customer by doing so . Used to be if you had a good size order they ate the shipping now they have priced there shipping and them selves out of the game

I try my best to stay away from UPS.I try to have things shipped by mail

Year One is pricing themselves right out of business. I haven't ordered anything from them in years, their prices are too high and shipping is near criminal. There are places that want our business with fair pricing and fair shipping. They need to wake up and realize that they are not the only game in town.

Agreed, I used to recommend them, not anymore

Overpriced and out of touch too bad they went that direction:mblah05:

I had a 20% off postcard from them that expired the other day and I struggled to find stuff to buy to just to use the discount. Their shipping has been outrageous for years.
