Went to re-install my completely refurbished vent windows today, and totally forgot i was missing this piece circled below.
  1. Does anyone know what it is called?
  2. Does anyone have one?
  3. Does anyone know where I may be able to get one?

I need it for the PASSENGER side assembly.

Thanks guys.

I'm not sure about a 68 but my 63 is similar in that the piece in question
stabilizes the lower window channel by bolting to another bracket which attaches to
the lower door.
On mine, this piece is riveted to the channel and is not replacable.

I made one from a piece of 10ga steel. and tig welded it to the channel and it worked great. I don't know what else you can do without replacing the channel.

Good luck!

yes it is riveted in. I can handle re riviting (sp) the piece if someone has one.

That is a run channel lower support and it gets spot welded on to the channel. I have one for the passengers side 68-70 2 door hardtop or post as convertible is different PM me

Well, There ya go Mack, What a great site this is!

PARTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED> THANKS GUYS! :2thumbs:
