I have some car parts I cannot identify. They are stumpers as I have motorhead friends try to identify them and this group is still unknown. As a card carrying packrat, I can't bring myself to throw them away. Members here would probably participate just to show off their big brains, but I have something else in mind.

What I propose, is I put photos of the parts on here, and when they are correctly identified so I can sell them, I donate $5 for each part to a charity. I don't know a lot about charities, but St. Judes sounds like it helps kids. They claim 82% goes to the kids, that seems fair enough.

Too weird?

Here's a cap and a muffler I just got. I'll try to help with anything I found in searching the id of these parts.
To me, the muffler part number looks GMish. It is about 8 inches in diameter and about 18 inches long. The one end has been cut. It came from a sale that had a number of 1929 Buick parts, but that knowledge

may have distracted me.

Muffler seems like a GM number. Don't remember any Mopar numbers starting with a 7. GM yes.

Looks like a Buick Riviera hub cap..
