Friend worked at the dealer. They wanted a new block for that car. So they had a Hemi GTX loosened a connecting rod bolt and put a rod out the side of the block and they warrantied the block. Was at Connecticut Dragway watching the driver come off the line wheels a foot off the ground. Well when he came down the line lock was still on.

Here’s a few cars I’ve owned in the past. Most pics are from the 80’s/90’s

The Coronet 500 convertible was my brothers longtime steed. He traded it for the paint job on his Challenger. 2 weeks later the painter got T-boned in it and refused to finish painting his car. That was met with a “renegotiation” that got most of the car painted.

The Barracuda as I got it out of a field, and finished. The pink Challenger in the background was the Challenger that was the subject of the paint job mentioned above

The GTX when I first got it, and just before I traded it away.

And the Belvedere when I first got it, and after I dropped a 440 in it and had it printed it when I dropped it in a huge hole at the Nats one year. K&K paid for that one.

The 79 Roadrunner I paid $800 for it and gave it to my girlfriend, now my wife. She loved that car, it got her lots of attention

My buddys ‘71 GTX alongside my ‘71 RR probably 35 or so yrs. ago. His car is long gone, I still have mine.
