First time its seen snow in its entire life!
Beautiful Bee. I love the stance. Can you share the wheel and tire size you are using? Thanks
Rear-285 60 R16 Front-245 50 ZR16 I will eventually be going to 15” rims all around.
Update pic with my new wheels. Rode around the neighborhood today, first drive since working on it since November.
Yesterday, out to go for test run #2. Another 50 miles or so this time.
Love the color and wheels. I assume turbines ? You don't see that style on these cars, very nice.
Canadian Tire specials that I bought with my hard earned pennies in 1979. They're even Pentastars !! They are not Supreme Wheels, those are just the ONLY cap I could find to buy that are the correct hole diameter.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice Coronet! May i ask you what type/brand headers you got there? Block huggers? Looks clean...and also much more maintenance friendly.
Thanks! They are flow-tech cheapos. They serve the purpose, but not real happy with them. They hang too low... scrape over bumps in the road. Had to get higher profile tires for more clearance. I'm actually looking for original manifolds to put back on it. Then I'll get the whole exhaust re-done from the manifolds back.
I got the Hooker-style headers, not sure what brand it really is but as they are making life very hard with leaks. Also pulling a spark plug becomes a challenge on it's own with them things so i am sniffing around for a future improvement that can be made. Original manifolds do give some space back between engine and fenders which is all you really need. But they will take 10-15 hp off the total
Engage your brain-pan for headers, had 2-1/8” Hookers way back when and a combination of sockets & wrenches works great(while cold!).
sold this one years ago to a guy in arizona , he restored it back into it wonderfully .
Yeah I know, sucks, but I'm a "stock" kinda guy. I also have leaks with the flow techs. I've heard great things about TTI headers as well as Doug's, but get your wallet ready!!
I will have to pull my engine, i know there are some issues with the threaded holes in the cylinder heads as well so i cannot make them really tight. I thinks some i will have to drill and install heli-coils, after that making sure the header flange is straight i should get it sorted with some good gaskets. Maybe a set of TTI yes, as you said it will break the bank so need to be prepared before purchase
Just saw this 69 383-4speed in the work parking lot. Sweet ride, Red interior too!
