"Please S T O P saying this" thread.

Sometimes, but not often, I get sidetracked, or get inundated with unfounded (or founded) questions about repetitive issues, such as ported vs manifold vacuum, springs inside the lower radiator hose, 160 degree thermostats, Holley vs Carter vs Edelbrock carb is best AND which oil is best and the least overlooked issue of the correct tyre valve stem cap torque ......

The problem IMO is "Know what I mean" often requires the ability to read another's mind, or just make/voice a convenient assumption to move things along.
"Does that make sense?" if answered means the listener needs to make a commitment.

Tire valve cap torque!? 100 ft lbs should work!

However, the downside to that thinking IMO is like hating a painting because the picture frame sucks.
An ugly A10 Warthog might be another example.
A10 is a 650 BSA. A7 is a 500. A7 is also a 350 Kawasaki.
Which brings me too “ We are the authority for Kawasaki batteries “ And they list a few 12 volt options. But my KE100 uses a 6 volt battery, and that is what I typed in for model.

Left side valve caps have reverse threads, correct?
Very funny.
RR and Bentley also use left hand threads on the
left hand wheels, and they are made of bronze, or something like that. Maybe someone knows when they stopped using left hand wheel nuts.

Rolls Royce and Bentley stopped using left hand wheel nuts after 2003.

How about this one...?
The people that make it a habit to ask a question and then answer it themselves! Often times it is a yes or no question.
Is it annoying? Yes it is.
Does it impress you? No, it does not.
I hear some radio talk show hosts doing it. Instead of just saying what they mean, they feel the need to do it in a backward manner.
Have you ever heard a car guy talk like this?
The engine has a rattle of some sort. Should I look into it? Yes I should.
The people that talk like this, need THIS:

The east Coast people sometimes say....Not for nothin, but...
S T O P saying this.
TV shows like Blue Bloods use it a LOT. Whenever the detectives come upon a crime scene, they say What do we got ??
Well, you GOT a lack of skills regarding proper English usage.

man...I thought peeps on the west coast were so laid back...I mean no stress, off the chain type guys, just sayin'...I only thought us east coasters were uptight, I guess at the end of the day, it's just California Dreamin'...:black_eye:
In my experience Commiefornia produces some of the most hostile, angry and stressed out people I’ve ever met. Maybe in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s they were kick back folks but now? Nope nope nope

Years of being overtaxed, taken for granted, UNDER appreciated, treated like ATMs for stupid programs that I didn't ask for, Stupid policies, unchecked immigration and excessive regulations will chase you out or make you bitter.

it is what it is and whatever, I want to throat punch-em, I digress from such violence...can I kick them in the balls?:hifu:
