Poly Distributor

Hi Fellaz,

could anybody assist me? I`ve got a general request. It refers to the distributors for Poly engines. I found the following link which told me that all SB distributors will fit the Poly engine, is that correct?

I bought an original distributor to swap it to an pertronix 2 kit but currently I am not sure if the distributor will fit to my engine. I think it was from a later LA engine.

Yup....the poly engine block and the LA is very similar and that article pretty much nails it....and I still wonder why so many call it a wide block....

I think because the Poly is wider than the LA Small Block
