Does anyone having a experiences in removing this pulley?Looks like it takes a special spanner tool? Buying a rebuilt one with the pulley and reservoir looks to be $$$. I think this is called a "federal pump"? Where to buy a remann pump?

Done many. You do need a puller. Get one that will pull alternator pulleys too.

Looking at that pump you can get a puller to get it off the shaft. Getting it back on it is not like a Saginaw pump where the shaft is threaded to pull the pulley back on. If I recall the federal has to be partially assembled and the pulley pressed on as you need to support the other end of the shaft when pressing the pulley on.

So no threads? any Idea where to get a rebuilt one? I have some pullers and a press. But would like to get a rebuilt one.
