I am not convinced food now labeled "with probiotics" really are new and improved. By the same token, I wonder what is going on with the new spray paints (engine enamels, for example) that list ceramic on the label. What is this ceramic purported to do anyway?

Get you to buy the paint, silly!

Ceramic = Any non-metallic solid that hardens when heated.

So, since the "color" component is probably a non-metallic solid that has been heated, therefore they can call it a ceramic. So, its pure marketing. There has always been ceramics in it for most colors. They just want to tell you about it since nowadays people think ceramic=good.

I work in marketing, so this method is very common and easy to do.

Soon, you will see Gluten-free and non-GMO paint. Sheeple will buy it.

It's like the waterproof 3/4" plywood I bought for a subfloor "Plytanium", I got a good chuckle out of that one. Marketing nowadays is borderline insulting to the consumer.
