Production number on 73 Charger 400 4sp

You will not find a broadcast sheet above the gas tank unless GM built your Charger. Look under lower back seat, behind upper backseat, taped to back of glovebox or under front bucket seat, and under carpet.
 
Tan "tuff" steering wheel is cool but very likely not original.

IIRC colored tuff wheels didn't appear until 76-ish or maybe even later.

My tuff wheel was an add on to my Road Runner so yeah same as this. I am going to look at all the places mentioned above by RJS (thank you), but we can eliminate under the carpet as it was all replaced 2 months ago. Fingers crossed but not feeling lucky....

Husband made a long list, put her on the lift, zero rust, trans is orignal, in his opinion it is a real exhaust tip car, motor is 1971, 323 gears...
