Anyone have any stats on the number of 63 Plymouth Fury convertibles produced? I had the # years ago but no longer recollect. I'd imagine many were crushed as they weren't keeper cars like Mustangs or other "A" list cars. I do many car shows and 4 out of 5 times I'm the only one having a 63 Plymouth! Mine is a CA rust free and ready to drop some $20k in resto over the winter so just curious.
Thanks

Not a keeper car??? First car I had was a 63 Ply SF ragtop...end of story, was told it got crushed, after I traded it in for a 69 RR.
But, back to your question. Many years after, I was told...for each production year, Chrysler only made 300 ragtops total...Chryslers, Dodges, and Plymouths. Can't swear that's accurate, but that's what I was told.

Sure its a keeper. Had mine over 20 years and always a fan of early b-body Ply. But they weren't immediately held as a car to save so many found their way to scrap yards. Sadly recall seeing them in yards in my youth..

I just love having the only 63 Ply. Spt. Fury vert. in the state of Hawaii. Way to many Camaros and Mustangs. Very few 62 to 65 Mopars

Wow over 5,200 made huh? Not exactly rare but suppose the number still around has dropped significantly in 53 years. Thanks much for the info.
