I got the Rear big stuff installed and thought I’d share a few pics.

Got my driveshaft measurement and placed that order with Drive Shaft shop. Ordered the driveshaft loop from USCT.

Next comes final welding and then paint. I need to setup the welder to put argon inside the frame rail for final welding as there is no access for cleanup behind these welds.

Everything is tack welded now. Yes I use MIG with .035 wire
I'll be rigged up to fill the frame rails and diff with Argon mix while final welding.
Do you prefer TIG?

I use what I have (stick and MIG) TIG is great but, I haven't purchased a rig-yet. I may never. I just never ran across purging with MIG welding. We did hundreds of TIG welds (food grade stainless) with purge gas when I was working. I suppose it would work equally well with MIG welding but, how will you be finishing the inside of the frame rail?
Mike

Ill finish the inside with Eastwood internal frame coating.

I use their kits in all my stuff. Great kits, will ride fantastic. You should really enjoy the car when you are done
