Proving My Mopar Street Cred... now prove yours

Is that a trailer bumper hitch on the 73 Sebring Plus?
Terry W.
Yes it is. We owned one of those 6 wheel dune buggy’s and we would pull it all over the place with Moms car. The Duster was smaller and underpowered and was not considered our family car. I must have a penchant for Mopars with trailer hitches.

Me too. The hitch on my 74 Charger which I haven't put in the shop yet to get it going again.

The original owner of the Roadrunner was towing his buddies dragster to the strip on the weekends to race. Imagine towing a dragster with a 6bbl 4 speed. I asked Jerry if he ever raced the RR…..only once. But he was class winner with a 13:17 time. Must’ve been the trailer hitch giving him that extra ummph!

Here he is with the car after I got it back on the road and took it back over to him. With his trophy from the big win. We had so much fun that day.

Not sure I need to prove anything but I've had Mopars all my life.
Started with changing the 9 - 1/4" differential gears in my Mom's 77 fury when I was about 15.
I still have the first car and truck I ever bought, 66 Charger and 93 Dakota (Had other trucks which I got for free before the Dakota)
I'm not sure when I got the Charger maybe 1989? I've had the Dakota probably 20 years or so that had a 5.2 V8 and 46RH swap.
Here's a rush job we did before Carlisle in 2013, snapped off an exhaust stud on the drivers side taking off the exhuast manifold to blast and paint it. I could still get stuff done back then at 48 years old. Tore this apart and had the head on the table in under 45 minutes.

My Satellite had a bumper hitch on it when I bought it. Story from the 2nd owner was that the original owner used it to tow a travel trailer. Probably why he ordered it with a 383 auto, trailer tow pkg, pdb and a/c.

Broadcast sheets are now “build sheets”. And fender tags are now “body tags”. GM junk.

Not much street cred. But always raced since 1978 and had quite a few street cars along the way. Still have the roadrunner and the srt4, Pro Stock Hemi powered comp car and new top dragster with F3 procharged 528 Hemi . Gold Demon was my fathers and I’s and car when I was a jr. in high school.

And I thought you were breaking in the cam.

I come from a family that my whole family for generations have worked for GM and FoMoCo. I am the only Chrysler enthusiast in my Family and I have heard about it all my life. I have owned nothing but Dodges, Plymouths and Chryslers since I was 15. Now 54. Probably well over 150+ Mopar vehicles to date. I have never owned a Brand X or foreign vehicle. That should say something with even going against the family.....

Street cred, not sure about that. This is me after rebuilding my 67 Dart for the second time in 1977, after it was stolen and I got it back. While everyone in our family had our new Chrysler products, basically, solely since 1965. I've had a lot of new ones from them. They supported my family and we supported them. I still only drive NEW Chryslers since 86. In front of my girlfriend house in 1977, we've been married now for 46 years.
